My Son was playing with the remote this morning, and somehow locked everything.
I have a blue screen with a red padlock up. I have tried a few things, but nothing works.
Please help
Press MENU to show the on-screen
menu.
Press VOL+ or VOL- to highlight SET.
Press CH+ or CH- to highlight
PARENTAL CONTROL.
Press VOL+ or VOL- to display the
SECRET CODE screen.
Press VOL+ (on the remote) and the
CH+ button on the front of the TV
at the same time.
Press the Number buttons to
enter a four-digit code. The code will
appear on the screen as you enter it.
The code "0000" is the default of the
TV. If you have not set up a code previously,
then "0000" is the code.You cannot
use "0000" after you set your own
code (unless you reset the code to
"0000").
Press MENU to save the code.

Same situation but with an NU-TEC.
My son has locked the WHOLE thing.
I have tried what you said already, but even the menu button on both remote and tv are locked.
Yep, same here - no response from any button except when turn off with remote, get a flash of program before it shuts off. Thanks for giving it a shot.
Magnavox 27MS343S - "Child Lock On" when attemting to access the menu.
Cannot get the menu to come up with the menu button, either on the front of the tv or remote control.

My TV has also got a child lock code on it. The model no is 29 PT 6361
It is a 4 digit code
