I have a dmc-fs5 panasonic camera which works fine in my laptop but will not be recognised on my win7 desktop, ive tried looking for drivers but no joy

To easily isolate if there's a problem with your computer, try to connec the camera to a different computer and verify if it has the same problem. If it works fine, there's something in your computer that blocks your camera. it could be the USB port or some malwares. Try to scan your using your antiviurs. It is necessary to update your antivirus regularly.
Im sorry but I don't have software available for Panasonic cameras at this time, and we don't sell cables. If you go on ebay and search 'dmc-fs5 usb' you will find the cable you need for $5. Wish I could offer more help than that, sorry.
