XDVD8180 Car Video Player: whats the code to bypass the emergncy brake...

You have to disable the emergency brake bypass. From what I remember there are two wires on the back of the radio one for the brake and one for the emergency brake. One of the wires is a blue yellow and the other one may be a light green. But you have to trigger the brake wire twice and trigger the emergency brake wire once in order for the video to play. The brake has a positive trigger and the emergency brake has a negative trigger.

disconnect the parking brake safety. Its wired from your unit to the parking brake ground wire. Diconnect it and wire it right back to your radio ground and your picture will play while your driving. Happy crashing :)

For the Anti-Theft Passcode if you forgot yours - Turn to player on. Make sure the screen is out. Press and HOLD the MUTE button. While holding the MUTE button, press and HOLD the POWER button. (Should be holding them both down at this time.) After about 12 seconds a new passcode screen should come up. Release the MUTE and POWER buttons. Type in 122164. Press OK. Your passcode is now reset to 0000.

For The E Brake Passcode - Put in a DVD. Wait until you hear the sounds of the DVD. Press STOP twice on your remote. Press 22604 on the remote. Press OK/ENTER on the remote.

I think you need a special adapter cable for the newer Ipods. Check with your local shop first to see what you would need then buy it on Ebay for much cheaper. Goodluck.
