Hi,

try adjust the toner aditiute by going in to the printer properties. adjust to 3 if posible and do a test print. If the print out is still faint. try update the firmware of your printer by going to www.samsung.com

Faint grey printing

According to the service manual for problems with light print image, the cause can be the Developers or High Voltage Power Supply (HVPS). Other possible causes are given as: Developer roller is stained when the toner or developer cartridge is almost consumed. Ambient temperature is below 10 degrees Centigrade. Bad contacts with the HVPS or abnormal output from the HVPS. To replace the Developers you would need to purchase a replacement Imaging Kit CLP-R300A. Any problems in the HVPS would require a factory repair.

The print on the left side of the page is faint. I have an HP LaserJet 3030. I used the printer's cleaning system, but the problem remains. Any idea how to fix this problem? Thanks

Hi,
First make sure that the cartridges are OK and have enough toner. (Remove the cartridges and inspect it physically, shake it horizontally so that the toner inside the cartridge is evenly distributed) If it happens even if the cartridge has enough toner or after replacing the toner cartridge, it is most likely be due to dust accumulation at the laser reflecting mirrors inside the printers, which partially blocks laser beams and results in faint print. Therefore the printer requires cleaning/ servicing by a professional.

GoodLuck!
Dont forget to appreciate the solution if I could have been of any help!

Samsung 4300 tonner exahust message

A laser printer needs toner to print, when this runs out the printer will print either blank or very faint images.
You need to replace the toner cartridge with a new one or a re-manufactured toner cartridges. Re-manufactured toner cartridges are cheaper than new toner cartridges for your model printer.

Samsung ml1610 gives faint print. (even self print) is this because of drum or blade or toner powder?

Try checking out your toner cartridge on other printer or another toner cart on your printer if you get the print fine on your printer then your toner is troubling or else the mainboard of your printer is problem which is not allowing proper flow of toner on paper.

Replaced toner cartridge - print is very faint

You have to wiggle the toner cassette gently back and forth in a horizontal position like ten cycles before installing the cartridge in the printer. Otherwise the toner will not feed properly.

Also make sure to clean the scanner window and clean the corona wire at every toner change to prevent problems, check out the instruction manual on how to do this.

Good luck!

Faint vertical lines on Samsung ML-2010

Was the toner remanufactured/ compatible?
Sounds to me like the doctor blade in the cartridge is 'gummed' up and not allowing the toner to flow evenly across the Developer roller......try another cartridge
