The exact thing happened to me 2 days ago! ...I wonder if it has to do with the new Kenwood firmware update? I called Kenwood and they told me to send it in for repair. I'm going to go to best buy car audio installers to see if maybe its a loose cable or not before I send it in to Kenwood.
well I had to send the unit into Kenwood East service center for repair and they told me it costs $600 to fix to replace the Navigation unit! The guys at the Best Buy audio install center told me they told me the Kenwood GPS decks are garbage and to stay away from them. They've seen this happen to the Kenwood Garmin decks all the time.
