If the incline is stuck, it could be a problem as simple as the gearbox on the motor being jammed. Unplug the treadmill remove the motor shroud then remove the incline motor from the treadmill, reconnect the wiring, plug in the treadmill and then try to run the incline motor outside the treadmill. Many times, this will unjam it if that is the problem and then reinstalling it in the treadmill will get it to work. If you have the same problem or it doesn’t run outside the machine and you can hear it try to work, you need to replace the incline motor.
If the incline motor does not move, we need to figure out if the motor is getting voltage. Use a simple multi-meter and set it to AC volts. When you put it into calibration, it tries to calibrate the directions one at a time. Measure across the white and black wires first, then measure across the white and red wires second. If the motor is getting voltage you will read 120VAC (or thereabouts) one one of the measurements. If you have voltage but the motor won't move, you need to replace the motor. . If the incline motor does not move and you have done the voltage test and you do not have any voltage present, there is a problem in the electronics board that supplies the power, you need to replace the board.

My HEALTHRIDER H95T treadmill is stuck in the fully elevated (level 12) angle on the platform and will not move

The incline motor is jammed due to a faulty incline sensor or incline motor assy. This is somewhat hazardous if you do not know what you are doing to remove the incline motor. Sometimes you can repair it most of the time you replace the incline motor assy. Must be calibrated upon completion.

Precor 927 stuck in incline position

How long have you let it run for after turning it back on ? Some treadmills have a re calibration test built in and will incline to the max and work its way down. During this time you should simply walk away and not touch anything as it trys to calibrate its self. If not i will need more information on it

Lower incline

Dear Sir:

I STRONG recommend RUN the calibration Software Inmediately, for eay Diagnose and troubleshooting, most of them instruction has coming in the Hood of Motor, follow the instruction or use your instruction manual.

Adjust the sensor speed attached the diagram. Tight the wires from sensor speed. The sensor speed can be faulty. Adjust the Pot with the gear in the same motor, both can be faulty. And finally the main motor board can be wrong. sincerely.

God bless you.

Epic Comfort step 425mx treadmill that we have is stuck on incline. How do I get it to go back down?

This happened to my treadmill. You need to get to the motor and see if the belt is fraying. If so, the fibers may have gotten entangled in the motor causing it to stay at the highest incline level. Once you clear this the treadmill will go up and down again. Hope this helps!

My treadmill is stuck at the highest incline and will not decline

Although it is fairly rare the incline motor can jam up into the highest position and get stuck there. To fix this take off the plastic hood that covers the incline motor and depending on the motor you should be able to wind it with your hand out of the highest position. When it is out of the highest position run the calibration as described in the owner's manual and it should go all the way up and all the way down. If it is not this type of motor that can be wound by hand then the first and last thing to do is to try calibration of the incline as described in your manual. If this does not work then a new incline motor is needed.

Try putting the key in while holding the down incline button in. This resets the height mechanism. Repeat with the up incline button.

MAKE SURE YOU STAND TO THE SIDE OF THE TREADMILL WHILE PERFORMING THIS
1)Connect the wall power to the treadmill
2)Remove the safety key
3)Hold down the red stop button and red increase speed button (this is the red triangle next to the start button)
4)Insert the safety key while holding both buttons down in step3
5)The treadmill will now go into a diagnotstic calibration mode
6)Let go of both buttons in step 3 and press the oval stop button once
7) Now press the up arrow green incline button once(This is located to the left of the yellow program button)
8) Allow the treadmill to go through a calibration cycle, once it completes and stops moving remove the safety key count to 3 and reinsert.
