What makes you say the drain pump/line is clogged?Have you taken an error code to the display of ND for no drain? Is the machine is a FAV6800A or FAV9800A?
Is the machine failing in spin cycle of the wash cycle?
Can you supply more info regarding your no drain issue?
If there is a drain line/pump clog we would start at the Sump Cap disconnect the drain line from it and inspect the Sump Cap for debris. We would have to check if the input hose is blocked or the impeller of the drain pump blocked.
The drain pump is a tight work area I will attach a Pic of the Drain Pump location for the FAV6800A/FAV9800A machines with the Outer Tub removed. It’s located on the right side of the machine. You will see the short drain line hose from the Sump Cap to the input of the drain pump and the exit drain line clearly in this pic.But before all that I would have you place 5 gallons of water in the machine by bucket fill then turn on the drain pump in Service Mode and time the wash tub to empty the water fill about 25 seconds max. That would give me an idea if we are dealing with drain pump/line restriction issue.

drain hose more than likely plugged pull it out get the wet vac cuck water out from inside first then remove hose and **** it out make sure it's clear.also check the drain that it drains into and be sure its not cloged.allways unplug machine before attempting these steps.
i am assuming it is a front load washer, on the inside of the front gasket,in the middle, there is a drain hole. It is clogged, you will need to unclog it. It happened to us a few months back when a pillow exploded in the washer, I ended up pulling the front panel off and with pipe cleaner getting all the debris out. Good Luck Tim
this motor reverse's to drain . may be motor . or relay . timer . or just a cloged drain line . hope this helped . if it washes the look for restricted drain . if you installed a new dispsal ( knock the plug out wher the hose connects . and ck it for blockage .. mm
yes it is cloged it is a dish washer not a food grinder and the cascade pillows and not very good use the jel you will have to **** out the dicharge line with a shop vac...
Hello, LD stands for long drain.
If all the water isn't out of the unit within a certain time, the ld will flash.
Could be 2 things.
1) There's lint stuck in the pump preventing the water to drain properly or
2) You're using too much soap causing lots of suds also preventing the pump from draining properly. If this is the case, what you need to do is run the washer on full load with no detergent and clothes. Let it go thru the cycle and get rid of eccess suds. This is most likely your problem.
Hello phylislw61,
If you had an incident where a pillow broke and feathers where dispersed throughout the washer..then there is a good chance that teh drain fiilter screen, pump or hose feeding the pump is clogged. I would verify that the filter is free from anything that would limit water flow from getting to the pump.. then if the problem is still there.. examine the pump itself to make sure it isn't clogged...
If you or someone in your family is reasonably handy, here is a link to your washing machines exploded view and parts and this should provide sufficient information for how to access the pump and associated hoses etc that feed into and out of it for cleaning..
If you are having problems after you verify the lines are free of restriction, feel free to contact me and I will try to assist you in solving your problem.. Here is the link.. http://www.pcappliancerepair.com/model-display.php
