Lost safety key

I have a Weslo Candence treadmill and I too lost my safetly key and I recently folded up a leftover valentine's card from my child's kit box and to my surprise it worked. I just folded to the size of the key and inserted and the treadmill started up with no problem. YEAH!

Unfortunately there is no way to be able to start the treadmill without the safety key. You can call ICON health and fitness customer service and they can order you a new one. With shipping and tax it is usually about 15 to 17 dollars.

    just fold up an old credit card. I will never buy a piece of plastic worth $15. I can't believe it's so expensive. If the price is 25 cents, I "might" think about getting one...What a rip off, only in america..

    I bought a floor model and it did not have a key. They took 50.00 off the sale price. I went home and called Wesco 1800 number and they mailed me a replacement free. It arrived in 5 days by USPS.

I lost my key, is there anyway to start otherwise?
I can suggest a way to make the machine work without the key. If you remove the control panel cover you will see where the key switch is located. If you have a simple toggle switch you can remove the wires from the key switch and attach them to the toggle switch. then mount the switch in a position where you can easily turn it on and off. That is how I fixed mine.

My husband lost the safety key for our Hitachi Table Saw Model Number C10FR. This saw is discontinued and the customer service department at Hitachi will not return phone calls or E mails. Can anyone...
I found Hitachi customer service to be quite helpful in replacing my safety switch for my C10RA2 table saw. My C10RA2 has a fixed metal stand, not the folding stand, and the part number for the red safety switch or key is 531-992R, while the switch itself is part number 314-459. If you have the folding stand the part number for the switch is 321-620 and the safety key is 321-621. Hitachi customer service in US: 1-800-706-7337. I am going to buy two or three! Almost lost a table saw over a cheap plastic part.

I went to the web site for my TX400 treadmill and they told me the safety key is no longer available.This treadmill will not start without it?How can I find a replacement key?
If the key is really lost can probably open the top of the unit and see if there are two wires to short where it runs to the key switch. Of course you have to be careful, I don't hold the key anyway.

I lost the key to my tradmill. Where do I get another one or how do I start my treadmill?
u can get a replacement one from the manufacturer. just go on the companies website and look around. It might be in the customer services page under replacement parts (that's where it is with ProForm anyway). I don't think you'll be able to turn it on with out the key, safety precaution. It should only run u about a dollar.
