Please dont try more than 3 times.If you try more than 3 times the Sim will get locked.And it will ask for PIN code.Both these PUK and PIN code can be given only by the network service provider. Please call the network service provider of your mobile.And ask him to provide the PUK code or PIN code.He will ask you some basic details like name,date of birth for his verification.And he will provide you the PUK and PIN code.This is done for free of cost.

If it is asking for PUK code then, Call your customer care and ask them for your PUK code....they will tell your PUK no..

PIN and PUK are the domain of the service provider, ie, orange in your case. please contact their helpline to get the same. However, 00000000 (eight zeros) is the default PUK for most service providers. Try it. If it does not work then contact their helpline.

PUK means Pin Unblocking Key ..You can ask the network operator for the PUK ...

PUK means "personal unlocking key" .

The PUK code is asked if you enter a wrong pin 3 times.

You need to call your phone service company, they can retrieve the puk code from a database
for free.

In your case you need to contact your SIM card phone provider technical support to unlock the SIM.


The PIN and PUK are related to the SIM card, not to the phone.

If you replace the SIM card with a different one, then the phone should not ask for the PUK anymore.

take the phone to the nearest LG service centre... they will unlock the phone

When you turn the phone on and it asks for

PUK code

PIN Blocked.
Enter PUK Code

At this point the touch screen keypad is displayed portrait format with an emergency button bottom left.
The on screen keypad is active and the PUK code can be entered.
