Adjust the ASPECT RATIO of TV using the MENU button....remote control if an original will have a button on the remote to change ASPECT RATIO on TV....ZOOM button can cause that also!

The yoke needs to be turned slightly and the picture will move in the same direction as you rotate the Yoke. (located on the neck of the Picture Tube) Just loosen the screw on the yokes clamp slightly then carefully touch only plastic edge of the yoke and turn it slightly while an assistance watches the picture be careful not to slide the yoke up hugher or lower on the neck. It has to saty at the same spot but just rotated slightly.The pic below shows the yoke with yellow arraows. Do not disturb the purity rings (RED ARROW) or it will cause blotches in the picture so its very important not to disturb the item with red arrow.
If a CRT (picture tube and not LCD or Plasma) the tube sets require the assemblies on the neck to be positioned, adjusted for purity first (solid red screen) and then some adjustments to the rings of plastic on the neck for convergence.
hi, You tv have problem with the picture tube base socket. After a long year of use the contacts of the base socket will become dirty. You have to replace the base socket. You can find the base socket on the PCB which place on the picture tube neck Remove the base socket and buy a new on with the same size and fix the new one. This will solve the of out of focus problem.
Have added the picture of base socket how its look like.
It is an indication that you have a dry joints on the crt neck board.
Resoldering the dry joints on that area will cure the problem.
Crt neck board is the one connected to your picture tube.
no. possible loose solder connection but i believe it is sediment in neck of picture tube(crt) try while tv is on with the back off, tap tap tap the neck of crt with plastic side of screwdriver. hit it hard but dont break it. this will knock loose the sediments in the crt. fixed!
ok, for starters, the 4028x1260 is the resolution, meaning, the picture quality and shape...in computer terms, the number of pixels in the picture...the higher the number the better...usually
anyway, to turn on the flash, push the "Set" button. in the lefthand side of the screen...i think. will be a symbol that changes. the A means automatic, the O with a line through it means no flash, and the others are useless.
to make them brigter, in the menu you should see a thing that says E.V. {somenuber}.{someOTHERnumber}
ie. 0.0, 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0 and it goes to negative 2.0 as well.
I had the same problem and found this forum. In Camera mode, I went to the night/program light button and somehow entered a circular menu shown on the screen ... chose sports shots - and boom! back on to focused pictures. Hallelujah.
