You may need a new spark plug or have a dirty carb. Either one or both can cause your problem.

Testimonial: "Thanks! I can probably handle a new spark plug, how hard is it to clean the carb?"

My troy bilt weed eater won't prime, nor is the primer bulb filling up with fuel.

It sounds like the bulb is not sealed properly. That may also explain why it shut off after 20 secs. (sucking air and not getting enough gas). Fuel line or carb may be cracked or clogged. Or you may have accidentally reversed the fuel lines. Since it worked fine before you removed it, the problem most likely lies with the bulb, its gasket, its fuel line connections or the one-way valve beneath the bulb.
Good luck

How to get gas on primer bulb

Make sure your fuel lines are tight and not leaking. I would also change the fuel filter that is in the gas tank.

What would be wrong with my weedeater when i press the primer bulb gas will start to come out of the gas cap ?

You could have a clogged tube from the primer into the carb, but it also sounds like the fuel tank is overfilled.

My featherlite FL26 weedeater stalls immediately after starting.

I would start by emptying out all the old fuel, then pull the recoil several times to clear the carburetor. Then add fresh oil/gas mix, should be 40:1 which is 3.2oz of two cycle oil to one gallon of gas. Also check the fuel line and primer line for good connection to the carb. and make sure the spark plug is good.

Carburator issue?

Check the fuel line...it may be damaged as well. mine had a small crack in it and it was just replaced and now runs fine.

I need a fuel line schematic for a WeedEater brand Featherlite Plus weedeater

Presuming the primer bulb is on top of the carb....Fuel filter line out of gas tank goes to the lower part if carburetor body. The other line (normally larger in size) coming out of the fuel tank goes to the primer bulb outlet on the top of carb.
If the primer/purge bulb is not on the carb, things are a little different. The fuel filter line out of the tank still goes directly to the carb, as the bulb will pull old fuel/air out of the carb allowing fresh fuel to flow in and pushes old fuel/air back to the fuel tank.
Fresh fuel in, old fuel out of the carb...you can hook up a piece of fuel line to the bulb and tell which one is pulling and which one is pushing..or depress it with your fingers on it...either way you can tell.

I have a featherlite that will not run

Does it have a primer bulb? If so, check it for cracks, also check the fuel lines and the uptake filter in the fuel tank which may be clogged, check all the seals of the carb inder a magnifier to check for dirt or cracks...this is going to sound stupid but are you sure you put the carb back together correctly?
