I don't think it's possible.

You can use a laptop charger, as long as the connecter to the TV fits it'll work. I'm using one for my old set. I bought it from the Salvation Army for $5 without a power cord.

walmart urually has universal ac adapters for rather cheap. just make sure to read and follow the included instructions.

The only way is to use a standard "Set top box" or just use it as a video monitor for a VCR or DVD player - It has an A-V input that you can use, but it uses a 3.5mm jack socket (I think) - You'll need to determine the connections, but I'm sure it'll work fine. I'm just researching the conections myself. I'll re-post if I fine 'em.

According to CASIO website in Japanese, their portable TVs are not supporting Digital broadcasting and decided to cease production.
Thus it will not receive Digital broadcasting.
Although, EV-570 composite AV Input should still work for Camera, VCR, etc., I have not tried to connect to the DAC box.
My portable DVD without TV tuner worked with DAC box and now can watch digital TV program!

Hey Howeiw, I know that posting links doesn't help majorly, but I was unable to Find an "EV-1000 10.4 inch LCD Television" The closest I could find was just an EV-1000B. But that is not the same model. If you take some time when you have a chance, and visit http://www.xdiv.com/remotes/, That site has ALL of the Remote Codes for all Cable Systems.
