The PUK is a unique number that is assigned to your SIM card. Your SIM is blocked not the phone. If you try another SIM in the phone it should work just fine. In order for you to unlock your SIM, you need to check the papers that you got with your SIM card, the PUK1 and PUK2 should be on that paper. When your phone is security code lock usually you need the PUK2 to unlock it but some phones use the PUK1 to unlock it, you'll need to get this information from your service provider. If you don't have the papers for the SIM you'll need to contact your service provider for the PUK, some companies may require you to verify that you are the owner before they provide it to you.
