This is the message shown when you power off your computer but you leave the monitor on. If your PC is on but you still see this message then it is a video problem. It could be as simple as a loose connection somewhere in your video cable (either where it plugs into the monitor or where it plugs into the PC). It could also be the monitor-many have different input modes and maybe the input mode changed somehow. Then again something could be wrong with the video card-are components loose on it? Check all of these, in that order (easiest to hardest), and I think you will have found the problem.

Hope this helps.

How to huck up tv to desk top computer

Depending on the computer, you can use the VGA port or the HDMI1 port and the PC audio in (above the digital audio out) with the appropriate cables. The audio cable is a 3.5 mm audio patch cable. Use standard VGA or HDMI cables.

Then press the input button to select either the PC (VGA) or the HDMI1 port as needed.

Then make sure the computer is sending a signal to the desired port. (You may need to enable the port in the BIOS.) Make sure the monitor is on when you start the computer. With Windows, you can usually select the desired monitor by right clicking on the desktop and then choosing the display options. (for Win7, see Screen Resolution then detect the monitor.)

I hope this helps.

When i turn on my computer it says monitor is fine and under that it says check pc signal cable. what should i do!

i guessing your talking about a desk top. check the cable that comes from your monitor and make sure one of the pin inside aren't missing or bent. if bent you can try straightening it out but make sure you unplug the monitor. (i usually use a steak knife or a flathead screw driver). hope this helps. please rate if this helps. thank you.

Me e machine desk top has been stored away for 6 months, i have set it up & the monitor won't stay on & it's saying no signal?

When the monitor says no signal, it means that it is not detecting a monitor. You need to check the cabling of your monitor and verify that it is properly plugged in. Normally its a blue VGA connection or a white DVI connection that goes to the back of the computer. Also, some monitor requires a seperate power source and you need to check this as well

MY MONITOR WILL SHOW THE DESK TOP THEN GO BLACK BUT THE MONITOR IS STILL ON. IT ONLY FLASHES A PICTURE

Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply, blown fuses, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed HP monitors to get some ideas what to look for: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums
Post back what you see inside so we can guide you further and it will help out other people in the future also.

After starting the computer the screen is black and only displays digital analog on screen and the blue light is flashing. It then displays a box say "check signal digital analog." please help me. Thanx.

This blue light flashing means there is power to monitor bu NO video signal. No Analog or digital Video . analog is the regular plug for PC to Monitor, the other is HDMI digital or other digital. Check signal digital/analog means again: No video signal from PC detected.
