hi, Blue ray player available in the maket can't play VCDs (MPEG-1). Its can plays only formats like DivX, XviD, Avi, Mpeg-4, MkV, DivX-HD. That the main disadvantage of blue ray players. ok
Use your favorite Burning software and burn the .avi, .mpg, .wmv, etc.... to VCD of SVCD if that's what you want. No need to convert to DVD and then SVCD as it would just waste your time.

u want to know how to convert a vcd to a dvd....then u hav to install a software in ur computer known "vcd-dvd"converter.....then u can convert it easily...
