Hi,
"OE" code in your washer indicates a Drain error. This is because the washer is not fully drained within 10 minutes. You have to check whether there is a kink in your drain hose, ensure the filter is clean, the drain hose can become clogged with sludge, sometimes a hot wash with 1/2 a cup of vinegar will remove this sludge.
Thank you !!

I have the OE display but it will not do anything, tried unplugging and then holding in the start/power butter for a 10 count. Also tried running just the drain cycle. Laid the drain hose on the floor, no water came out. Sure could use some help/ideas Thanks

SOURCE: LG washing machine displaying error

It's actually a DE error code which stands for drain error. Pull the little basket out that's behind the small door on the lower left front (where the drain hose is) and look inside. The drain pump intake is about an inch in on the left. Make sure there's nothing in there like a paperclip or hair pin. If possible reach in and see if you can turn the impeller. If it won't move there's something in there if it will turn then the motor is probably bad.

OE error please

There may be a few different reasons why the OE error code can display on your washing machine. Is it the LG washer getting the OE error code? The OE error code on the LG washing machine display is an indication of a NO DRAIN issue. The 3 issues that may cause this fault code is a bent drain hose, the drain pump filter is blocked, or the drain pump may have foreign objects lodged in it making it unable to drain. All these issues can cause your LG washer to display the error code OE. With all these different reasons, checking all 3 components will clear the error and fix your LG washing machine.

WHAT DOES "OE" MEAN WHEN DISPLAYED AFTER WASH IS COMPLETE.?

An Error code OE on The LG washing machines simply means the pump is blocked.
Presumably the water isn't being emptied properly you might have something blocking the pump.
As with all error codes it is possible that there is a cause other than the exact description in the error code explanation but basically this error means as far as the washing machine is concerned it thinks the water isn't pumping out.
A pump, or filter blockage is the most common cause but it could be caused by other faults such as a faulty pump, or even a blockage in the drain hose near the sink waste or somewhere else in the system etc.

My washing machine stops mid wash and on d LCD display it has the letters OE sometimes the machine doesn't spin an if t does the cycle it doesn't let the fabric conditioner go n the was

An OE error presents if the washing machine has not successfully drained the water in ten minutes. However, the OE error code does not always mean that the washer requires a service call. If periodic maintenance has not been performed on the washer, there are a few simple steps to take before calling for service. Clear the filter located on the bottom left on the face of the machine. You will find a access panel located there that you need to open. richroth_61.gif Happy Holidays The FixYa Team

My washing machine showing an OE error before end of cycle

OE error is noyhing but an Outlet Error.. OE simply means “the pump is blocked”. Clean and straighten the drain hose / clean the drain filter. Check the hoses (drain hose) and the pump filter but if it didn't cure the problem then turn the thing upside down and strip the pump out of it check if anything is caught in the impellor.. if so remove it and everything will be fine..
