Ok first question do u even get a blue led glowing in the bottom left front of your tv ? More than likely you have a cracked power supply ! Its one of those things that was a design flaw. If your lucky and its a small crack it can be soldered back together. If not you will need a replacement. There is a diode and a FET that will more that likely be replaced also.
what diode and FET? I have almost the same problem... a red standby light ( no flashing) and wont turn on.what diode and FET? I have almost the same problem... a red standby light ( no flashing) and wont turn on.

It could be the conection ribbon between the T com and main board remove carefully clean and replace ,it should do the trick if still the same then most likely T -com
This sounds like it might be a main board issue. Depending on the television brand there are different replacements you can get at different prices. I would try unplugging the tv from the wall first then try plugging it back in while holding channel up/volume up on the tv as you are plugging it back into the wall. If this doesn't change anything it is most likely a problem with your main board.
It sounds that, the memory IC to your TV has damaged. This IC can be located very near to main system control IC. A very small one, with 8 solder terminals. Even though it is very small, function of it while the TV works is great. The work is a semi-skilled one, and you must have some knowledge in electronics to proceed.
If the red light won't come on it is not getting power.First, try plugging it in to a different outlet,or unplug one of the gadgets you know is working and plug the tv in there. You are simply switching. If you know that there is power coming from the outlet and it still won't come on then you'll have to check the cord;don't go much farther than that without expert help.
Try unplugging the TV from the power point and leave unplugged for 5 min. Or the batteries in the remote may be flat, try replacing the batteries. If this doesn't work the TV may have a fault.
Try to power drain it. Unplug all the power related devices that are connected, like a monitor data cable or external printer, just unplug all the cables in the back after you shut down your computer, press the power switch of your computer and keep it pressed for about 45 secs, release it, plug everything back and check it if its working. As well double check if that particular socket is usable, plug something else in to see if its working.
It sounds like the receiver may be locked up. If the buttons on the front do not work, then try unplugging the receiver for 5 seconds and plug back in then check to see if everything is working fine.

Sounds like there is a problem with the power supply. Try unplugging the T.V. and hold the power button for 30 seconds. Plug the T.V. back in and see if that helps. If it doesn't try switching to another outlet, and if that doesn't work then you may need to replace the power supply which would probably cost anywhere from 140 to 200 for one.
