Dumb question my friend just gave me her treadmill. I plugged it in but don't know how to turn it on. Where is the on button?

RUN the software calibration, go under the HOOD cover motor and follow the steps and fix it. Or read your owner manual or download from www. fitness.manualsonline.com

first you turn on the power button then push the page key go to what your looking for

1) test the outlet wall with a desklamp, if the lamp turn On THE circuit is o.k otherwise, the problem is fuse blown or c. breaker tripped, reset or replace fuse.
2) test the power cord for open or faulty. with VOM usin continuity
3) test the fuse y/o c.breaker inside of machine and reset or replace.
4) Turn on the machine if the machine keep the same simpton, test the key(magnet) the key is a magnet, test vs your magnet from seal magnet of your refrigerator for atraction or repulsion, if doesnot pass the test replace the magnet from some hardware like home depot.
and PROOF again, can be work. see the block,
Otherwise if the problem keep you must call some tech profesional, maybe you have Main switch open or defective and need replace, or power supply, capacitor, transformer, etc defective. or faulty.

i recently installed a dishwater and had to hook the drain up to my garbage disposal line and have no problem

Did it possibly blow a fuse in the treadmill? Also, Check your circuit breaker as well, and see if a circuit blew that was dedicated to the outlet.


Read the user manual of your treadmill to find the elevation motor. The treadmill fuses are located inside the elevation motor. If you don't have the manual, contact the manufacturer of the treadmill and ask if it can send you one or if there is one you can download online.

Turn off the treadmill and unplug it. If you have recently used it, let it cool down for one hour before opening.

Place the treadmill on its side and use a screwdriver to unscrew the lid off the elevation motor. Carefully remove the fuses. Some treadmills have easy access to internal parts where you don't need a screwdriver. If this is the case, simply lift the lid off.

Take the faulty fuses to a hardware store to make sure you purchase the correct replacement fuses.

Insert the new fuses into the elevation motor and close the lid. Plug in the treadmill to see if it works.

there should be a model tag on the machine , probably down near the belt , that will have the voltage details for the motor
if not the plate on the motor will have the voltage , rpms, watts and cycles plate on it

If you have no lights, check the main harness that cary power to the console. Check connection at both ends.
PS Always check outlet to make ssure you have 120 volts.

you need to perform a force recovery mode. to do this hold power and home screen buttons until the screen resets when it does keep holding the home screen button and plug in the phone to the computer after a few seconds itunes should see a phone in recovery mode and force you to do a restore. if that does not work you might have a hardware problem and will need to go to a store.
