My front load washer had ue blinking after a load was supposed to be finished. The clothes were soaking wet like the washer didn't spin

the ue code indicates that the control detects an unbalanced load in the washer that cannot be redistributed. press the start/pause button and try to redistribute the load. here are some problems that can cause this error code

the washer is not level or not stable. make sure that the washer is leveled properly front to back and side to side. press down on opposing corners to make sure that all 4 feet are firmly on the floor. adjust the leveling legs if necessary.

laundry can sometimes gather to one side. redistributing the load manually can resolve this issue.

try running the washer without any items added and see if it will spin properly. if not, you could have a problem with the control board or the hall sensor on the motor that detects motor speed.

From back or underneath, check that all three shock absorbers are attached. Take top off and check if both springs are in place and un broken

UE Refers that the Unit is Unbalanced. Take out the clothes out of the washer and then Run the washer. Does it Spin?

If yes, then it might be Unbalanced Load. Try to Load Small Clothes. If not, or if the Error is Appearing again and Again, Control Board or the Sensor is at Fault. You cannot Test the Control Board or the Sensor but usually Sensor is the Common Problem with Most of the LG Washers.

So, First Change the Sensor. If Problem Persists, Change the Control Board. On Most Models, Sensor would be Located near the Front of the Unit on the Side of the tub.

UE means unbalanced error. when you see this, it means the clothes are unevenly distributed in washer, it's basically unbalanced.

Thanks for using FixYa. The error code UE means there are some heavy clothing is loaded. Rearrange items to help balance the load. If the imbalance is heavy, the washer will make several attempts to restart the spin cycle. If an imbalance is still detected, the washer will stop and will display the error code UE. In case, if the load is small then you need to add 2-5 clothes to balance the load. If the load is out of balance then you need to rearrange the clothes to balance it. Although the Washer has an imbalance detection and correction system but if still the problem persists then it means that it is due to control error and needs to replaced preferably by a qualified service technician.

UE is likely an unbalanced load or load is too large. Reduce the size of the load and your issue should be resolved.
