My tv will begin to start, a picture will show for a few seconds then go black, still has sound and then a few seconds later tv will shut down. 3 flashing lights on front button once it shuts down. Please advise

If the screen is turning off every two seconds or so and then it comes ... i turn my tv on it comes right on, but then after a few minutes turns off, .... Digital Trends for LG.

This is a protection mode. Some secondary circuits are loading the power supply. It could also be a problem within the primary section of SMPS, as it waits for feedback after switching to start switching. Needs thorough board level checking. Better refer it to a trained technician.

turn tv on picture comes up 2to3 seconds later tv blacks out then stand by red light flashes 4 times in a row repeatedly..can not turn on or off when stand by light starts flashing but before tv blacks out you can turn tv on and off repeatedly and picture and sound work.You have to unplug power cord for 30 seconds after stand by light comes on to get tv to turn on.
