Hi, The OE code signifies that your LG washer is unable to drain the water out during wash cycle. This code can be triggered by a clogged drain pump filter or a drain hose that's kinked,
it could be that coins etc have blocked the pump or drain filter assembly, at the bottom right of the machine there is a panel, if you open this and follow the instructions to evacuate the machine of water, then open the cover behind it, and remove the filter assembly and clean it out maybe with an old tooth brush etc. and also the pump area
use a damp cloth to remove and grit etc from the thread and replace the cap securely, start the machine a new and watch for any leaks
i believe if the water outlet is still good,,,,,u will have to loose out the pump from its cup , mayce something hooked its propeller inside the i cup or replace the water pump
Possible this is relative of a poor drain time which means a clogged draining pump and system. So it si best to remove and clean the drain pump/filter and reset. check if the machine drain hose is connected to a outlet which is not clogged when the water is flushed out . Also the washing machine must be slightly tilted to drain to the pump to reduce the drain timing. Finally check if the machine was overloaded to produce a strain on the motor so as to give an error. If so shut down remove plug remove load , check if the agitator is jammed and reset.
The LG error code OE simply means "the pump is blocked". Presumably the water isn't being emptied properly. As with all error codes it is possible that there is a cause other than the exact description in the error code explanation but basically this error means as far as the washing machine is concerned it thinks the water isn't pumping out. A pump, or filter blockage is the most common cause but it could be caused by other faults such as a faulty pump, or even a blockage in the drain hose or somewhere else in the system etc.
LG themselves have some information on this error code..
OE means the drain hose is clogged. UE means unbalanced or overloaded. This is decribed in the owner's manual page 31-32. Pull the hose from the back of machine and rinse it out. Then, check the lint filter on the bottom, front left side. Put drain hose back and close lint filter. Unplug the machine, press and hold the start button for 10 seconds to reset machine computer (not the on button...leave machine turned off and unplugged while resetting computer) plug back in, put on no spin and start the machine. It should drain.
OE error is noyhing but an Outlet Error..OE simply means “the pump is blocked”. Clean and straighten the drain hose / clean the drain filter. Check the hoses (drain hose) and the pump filter but if it didn't cure the problem then turn the thing upside down and strip the pump out of it check if anything is caught in the impellor.. if so remove it and everything will be fine..
