There will be small pinhole at the front of the loading door, just below it. Just use a small metal piece or so [like a straightened safety pin] to push into; will eject the disc. Do it very carefully. Electro help
The belt on the loader motor is slipping. This causes the tape to not completely position itself to allow the tape to load around the drum. The machine senses this and ejects the tape.
Make sure it is powered on. Press power-on button then try to eject. If not, then press the power-on button and try to eject. If neither works, return to the sore or website where you bought it and ask for replacement.
Is it a store purchased dvd movie or is it a dvd that someone made and gave to you? Computers sometimes have problems reading cd's and dvd's that someone made. Try a store purchased movie dvd or music cd.
When you press the button on the dvd drawer it does not eject? Clcik Start/My Computer then Right Click on the DvD Drive and click Eject.
If it still does not open, take a Gem Clip (Paper Clip) and straighten it out as much as possible. Then look at the DvD Drawer and you will see a tiny hole that you can insert the Gem Clip (Paper Clip) into. Push the Gem Clip (Paper Clip) while you press the button on the Dvd Drawer and drawer will open. Don't worry about damaging or breaking something, that is why that tiny hole is there.
Try a DVD cleaning kit and follow instructions, if this fails! the problem is the laser pickup assembly, only option replace the assembly or purchase a new player, "far cheaper"
Try shutting the television off. With the unit turned off, hold the eject button and turn the unit back on. Continue holding the eject button for 30 seconds or until the DVD comes out. If this doesn't work, try unplugging the TV for 5 minutes and attempting the above steps. Hope this helps!
Your lovely Bose has problem with its mechanism that cause load / unload totally out of order. If you hear some noise while you turn on the bose or when you hit some buttons, it is telling us the motor still work. Now we need to check the broken gears ( or other mechanism linkage). If you able assemble this Bose, go ahead to find and fix it mehanism ( you may need some parts replacement.
Note : Be carefully with its laser lens while power on ( avoid direct contact to your eyes).
Find a paper clip. Unbend the outside piece of wire so you have a 1 inch or so pice sticking out.
On the front of the DVD, look for a hole about the size of the paper clip. Stick the long piece you bent out into the hole and push slowly but firmly until the tray just barely pops out. Slowly pull the tray the rest of the way out and remove the disc.
I've seen this caused by putting a second dvd/cd on top of one already in the tray, actually fairly common when you cant see the dvd drive tray from the top.
First off let me try to figure out your vocabulary.. The answer is No there not a piece of *****
What happends over time here is the little band inside slips causing the try to open and shut and so on, will take sooe rk to fix. Being that it is a combo unit a repair bill would not be in the budget. But if you put in a disc and it ejects it before it starts to even try to read then you got a stuck HAT, the HAT is the piece that helps the motor spin the disk. The unit will need to be opened to see what is wroung inside.
Thanks and do be considerate and leave a postive rating and feedback.
