The dishwasher (Dishlex DX302) is not drying the dishes any more. I thought I must have put it on the wrong cycle last time by accident, but have tried another cycle and it still won't dry and the dishes remain wet. Any clues?

These dishwashers have a control panel lock feature that allows you to lock the control panel to prevent kids from activating the unit.
To toggle lock/unlock mode, open the door, press and hold the AIR DRY button for 4 seconds.

Is the machine emptying completely? It may have a blocked waste hose causing the drama

Check if the heater is working. This can be done by checking if the dishwasher has steam and dishes are warm when cycle is complete. Also check if the Rinse aid has not finished. Make sure the Rinse aid dosage is not at too low.

Doubble check the settings on your machine.

It is a long way from my heater to the washer. Hot water is essential to the operation of any model machine. I always get hot water to the sink (by running the hot water, of course) before I start the washer. I can tell when I fail to do this.

Just a thought, I hope this aids your situation.

Of course your washer heater may have failed ... You can check it using a volt/ohm meter.

Go to http://www.dishlex.com.au/SupportCentre and then search by the model description DX302WB. I downloaded a pdf file no problem.

Found I had no hot water in my Dishlex DX302 and did a google search and found this page.

My problem was found to be the same as the others; one of the solder joints on the relay on the control board had arced off.
You could see the burn mark on the board and cover where it had been arcing.

Soldered it back together, and now it seems to be going good again.
Now my only problem is a damaged door seal, which means a small water leak; I have used part of a rubber glove to bridge the gap, and it reduces the water leak.
