The lettera takes a DIN spool ribbon, very hard to find you may be able to find a universal spool that will work. A General Ribbon T4 or you can wrap a ribbon onto your spools.

The margin release on the Lettera 35 is the last button on the right on the second row of keys . It uses the symbol |<-| on it.
If you are trying to move the margins, there should be two buttons on a scale above the platen (big black paper roller). They should just push down and move to set where you want them.
To the right, below the platen roller knob, there is a silver lever. It can only be depressed (locked) when the platen is in the central position Raise the lever to release the roller.
This ribbon fits many different typewriters 25 and 35 are the same. Spool should be the metal type not the plastic, and you need the nuts on the top....
The solution is not right--there is a carriage return release lever on the far right of the typewriter, that engages a notch on the underside of the roller/carriage return--push it forward to release the lever and you are in business--it has a spoon shaped end and its on the right side
