Will not start

When I pull the trigger nothing happens. I've had this trimmer a little over 2 years and all of a sudden it will not start up. I replaced the spring on the safety switch and I know the battery is charged up as I also have a worx trimmer. I don't see any lose connections. What do you think it might be?

Electric hedge trimmer want run why?

electric hedge trimmers have 2 switches to press before it runs
one is the trigger that you pull and the other is in the handle that you hold in your left hand
both have to be on before it starts
it is a safety feature to stop operators cutting off their fingers

25hp pull start cord not retacting spring has been replaced

When fitting any pull start spring, you must first pre wind the spring. Once the spring has been at least 1/2 way wound up or tensioned, wrap the pull rope around the spool. When you assemble it and pull the cord, the spring should wind up further to its fully wound position and now retract as normal. If you don't prewind the spring, there will be little or no tension to rewind the rope.

My framing nailer shoots out 2 nails at a time

Assuming that you are using the correct nails. This will usually happen if you have bump-fire trigger and are trying to place the gun on the work then pull trigger. Replace the safety spring if weak and bump-fire only (spring should be very firm). If you have single fire trigger, replace the trigger and the trigger valve for good operation. If you have always been bump-firing and now double firing, replace the safety spring and trigger orings. Good luck

Just quit working one day, drill is just over a year old not used a whole lot, pull trigger and nothing happens

Are the batteries fresh? How about the switch? Is it in the right position? I can't believe the motor has died. Even a dead battery will spin it a little. Check that out and let me know what you find.

The spring placement for the trigger replacement

Look at the old trigger and see where the spring has been rubbing. Place the spring around the trigger post and slide it into the trigger housing. With help of a small screw driver or scribe to flip the trailing end of the spring over the stop post in the housing. Hope this helps
