Pairing a Headset to a Playstation 3 (PS3)

  1. On the Playstation 3, got to "Accessory Settings"
  2. Next, goto "Manage Bluetooth Devices"
  3. Next Select "Register New Device"
  4. At this point make sure that the headset is in pairing mode before selecting "Start Scanning"

After pairing, go to "Audio Device Settings" and select your new headset as the Input and Output device and adjust the Microphone level to 5, if you can see the meter flash when you talk, your headset is working correctly, then hit OK.

i do not know how mine you can have going at 1 time but i have 4 devices register in all.

These are the steps to follow when you want to sync a Bluetooth to your Playstation 3.


1. Go to Playstation 3 menu then click "Settings," then "Accessory Settings"

2. Select "Manage Bluetooth Devices."

3. Select register new device

4. Press the button of your Bluetooth device then select "start scanning" on your Playstation 3.

5. Select the device you want to sync and if there is a passcode, enter the correct passcode and click "OK"

Then place your bluetooth headset in pairing mode, usually by holding the power button until the LED blinks rapidly. Back on the PS3, then select Start Scanning and select your device. Select the settings tab on your PS dash. Then select the accessory settings. Open manage bluetooth devices, then select register new device. At this point put your device into pairing mode, you can usually find how to do this with the items manual. Or look it up online if you do not have the manual. Then simply start the scan.
