Remote programming I am trying to program a Charter remote (c4000 or s4000) to this tv and cannot get it to work.

If you dont see your product on the code list try a code search. If this fails your remote might not support your device.

This DVD/VCR isn't compatible with the GE Universal remote. Sorry.

I would recommend contacting Magnavox (actually FUNAI CORP.) at www. magnavox.com, and seeing if they would be willing to send you a remote that was compatible with your player. There was another Magnavox player remote that also worked with Magnavox MWD2205. So it's possible that a number of remotes would work for you. Good luck! :)
