Yes, swapping the drives would not result in any data loss.

Please proceed with swapping of hard drives.

How do I upgrade my macbook pro hard drive?

If this is the 2009 model with the DVD/CD drive, then you can add up to 8GB of RAM and a much larger hard drive. I have seen drives up to 1.5 TB, and they were not expensive (just over $100). Just search for an online retailer (or go to a local Apple service center) that specializes in upgrades for older MacBooks. You may need a special set of tools, and you can also buy a kit that will allow you to use your old hard drive as an external drive (but make sure you back everything up BEFORE you start to swap drives).

Take a look at Acronis True Image http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/index.html

I use this and a device called Blac X at: http://www.thermaltakeusa.com/Product.aspx?S=1268&ID=1642

along with an extra drive to make an exact duplicate of my lap top drive. I then am able to swap the drives out if any thing happens.

You can also make Cds or DVDs of the image and use that to restore your drive.

I find the extra drive method, much more advantageous as I am only down for a few minutes. I make the extra drive about once every two weeks and swap drives each time so as to ensure that they both were working.

The hard disk's file system is corrupted and will be restored. I clicked ok to restore system, but system cycles and repeats itself

More than likely the hard drive has bad sectors, that's why it's looping.

Just swap the drive out with ANY 2.5 inch SATA laptop hard drive. They sell 250gb drives from Best Buy for around $50.

Just swap, turn the console back on, and follow the instructions displayed by the PS3 ;)

Server XSeries 220

Yes, that is the total amount of hard drive space.
This server was built for speed not for storage.

The xSeries 220 server supports four SCSI hard disk drives. The server does not support IDE hard disk drives. Some models support hot-swap hard disk drives and other models support only non-hot-swap hard disk
drives.
Your server supports four 1-inch (26 mm) slim, 3.5-inch SCSI hard disk drives in the hard disk drive bays. You can install four non-hot-swap hard
disk drives in the models that have the standard non-hot-swap drive cage. You can install three hot-swap hard disk drives and one on-hot-swap hard disk drive in the models that come with the hot-swap drive cage. Both the non-hot-swap and hot-swap drive cages hold a maximum of three hard disk drives.

The calculation at that time was 4 drives with 36.7GB storage.
Even if you find the drives somewhere, they will be very pricy.

If you have any more questions, just come back here and leave a comment - I'm happy to help.

How to swap laptop LCD.

Follow the link given below to a page that will allow you to enter the specific model of dv1000 that you have. Download the maintainance manual for your machine and that will tell you everything that you need to know. Pretty much step by step instructions. Not rocket science and should only take a couple of hours.
Hope this is what you are looking for!

Hard Drive swap

You could purchase a 2.5" hard drive enclosure. These are usually powered purely by the USB cable. This will allow you to recover any data from the old hard drive.

Samsung 160G spinpoint internal H.D.

You are brave. Are you sure it is the electronics? If it is in the drives spindles or heads you are out of luck. You will centainly loose everything if you open and expose the actual disk.
