I have a Yard Machines 22'' rotary walk behind mower. The pull cord will not pull to full extension to start the mower. It will pull out a little and then seems to get stuck. Any assistance would be appreciated.
Found out that after unboxing the mower you have to pull the handle out 8 inches to a second set of holes for the T-bolts near the frame. Up under the frame of the mower the handles go down and block the blade from turning.
From what you describe it sounds like the line may be tangled, remove the rewind housing in order to inspect the line up close.

is it flooding or is it second hand , some people cut the cord and dont fit it back properly , if it is flooding you will get hydraulic lock , answer to your question is carby service and over haul
