How do you change the shutter speed on a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ7 Digital Camera? I want to take pictures of lightning with it, I have found the ISO settings find and changed them to what I want, but the shutter speed isnt quick enough.
Re: How do you change the shutter speed on a Panasonic...
Hello,
You may change your shutter speed in Manual mode only. So you should turn your mode dial button to M position. Then you may control both shutter speed and aparture value.

The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.
you can use a laser pointer or mini flashlight point at the subject to replace the AF assist lamp. When the AF locked, turn the light off then press the shutter.
Do you have the flash turned off? Does the screen show a lightning bolt with a line through it? If so, press the button with the lightning bolt and watch the screen for a lightning bolt and an "a".
