Akai Hi I have a AKAI lcd tv Model# LCT3701AD Problem: Shutdown On Power Up.flashes Blue Akai Screen Then Shuts Down and keep doing same thing over and over...Do you what can be the problem.

    Hi Jaime,yes the voltage are fine in the power supply.

    Look in the main board is a plug#CB185 this plug come from the lcd inverter 3 wires 2 white and 1 red.the red is the one with 5 volts and this the voltage goes down each time tv goes to shutdown from 5 volts drop to 0 volts....I change the inverter too.any ideal?

There are reports that the power supply has dry o leaky capacitors. If you open the TV you will see the power supply # MLT169A.
I have fixed a few of this power supplies.

    Did you replace the whole board Pcb....mine has a high pitch buzz and then some picture flash or flicker

TV ON STANDBY MODE
The blinking light on the front indicates a shorted part in the power supply. The power board will need to be replace or repair to restore the LCD functionality.

Akai LCT3701AD refuses to leave STANDBY mode.
The power supply on your LCD is defective. It does not provide the power needed to all the circuitry due to defective capacitors or other components.
You will need to replace the power supply or get it repair because these service parts are not longer being manufactured.
