Check if there is any object such as a nail or some of that nature sticking thru the spinner drum that could touch the outside drum

No prob, but it would be adviseable to use a product called CALGON, it is a water softning powder, and will prevent build up of lime scale in washer due to hard water.

I suggest that you use Calgon Dishwasher ( Sodium Carbonate formula Na2CO3.) tablets in the dishwasher every week this is a brand-named water softner that is essential to be used in areas of hard water which causes calcification and catastrophic failure. Use both the salt and the Calgon to suit your hardness.

If you live in a soft water area then set code H:01 as the extra is not required and only use Calgon tablets once a week use normal salt or tablet for the other washes.

your problem may be because you generally use a 'cool' wash ie 30' or 40' Try a really HOT programme or two to see if this will remove the deposits that have built up What happens is that quite a lot of 'undisolved powder' tends to congregate inside the machine because of 'low temperature washes' Its a good idea now & then to use CALGON or some other descaling agent.

usually it is the larger for the main powder the second largest for the prewash powder and the smallest (labelled with a "max line" for the fab conditioner) the calgon can go in with the main wash or be put straight in the drum.
