The detergent flap is likely faulty.this quite easy to replace.unplug first.remove the front panel by screws allong the side when the door is open.the doorskin or panel may be a bit stuck to the inner door skin due to foam insulation that melts & sticks them together a bit.after removed you can see the rear side of the soap container,there should be screws to undo it,just remember where the couple of wires go.Goodluck!

Rotors turn and spray hot water onto plastic structure then it would open thermally.Check and ensure the rotors are clean and free to turn. 2)Electrical solonoid is used on some. At a certain time in the cycle, a pulse will be sent to the solonoid on the detergent appatatus. this will then open the door.
