To answer you question - From the owners manual: Erasing Caller ID Records In order to delete a specific Caller ID record in the log: 1. Using the [<] or [>] key, find the particular record you would like to delete.. 2. Press the [ERASE] key. The LCD display will indicate that the record has been deleted. 3. You may erase all caller information records simultaneously by pressing [ERASE] from the summary Call ID display.
You dont activate caller id,when you get a call it shows the caller info,if it doesnt,check with your phone company to make sure you have caller id service. I have the manual you need.
First off seven to nine you do not use an external cid unit for norstar systems. Make sure you have a caller id card in the main ksu or key service unit( the phone cabinet) It should say CI on it. If the card says DS then you do not have a caller id card on the system and will need to exchange it for one. Then the system phones will have to be programmed for cid.
