Hey i have an Acer 5542, i bought it in spain, it is in spanish , but when i press f2 on the start up its in english so i guess i can change the whole system to english, any help much appreciated!!!!!!

When you press F2 during start-up, you enter the BIOS, which is separate from your OS (Windows/Linux/Mac). Your OS only has the files required for it to be in the language it started in, so i'm afraid that you're stuck with spanish unless you have a Windows installation disk

Where to download instruction manual?

I do not speak spanish at all. I do have an N900 and you have to go to the menu and then to settings. You will find the Language and region button (it has a world map on it) From there the first item is Device Language and you can switch to English from there. Then click Save and that's it :-)

Now that's unusual, a Spanish laptop and printer having Spanish menu's!

If I were you I'd go into the control panel and change the regional settings and languages.

Try to go into System BIOS. Once you are in use the option Load Defalut settings.
And if any external device is connected other than CD-ROM, please disconnect it.

I want to change the language of my laptop to English,because I bought this laptop in Spain.

Go to Control Panel click on the Regional and Language Options Icon and change the current format to English..... My understanding of the words in Spanish to do this is not much different than the English, so it should not be to hard to change.
