Sound Settings Problem

RAZR v3m is not compatible with T-Mobile, as it is a CDMA phone, used on services such as Verizon, Sprint, Cricket, etc. The v3m is not a GSM phone and does not have a SIM card, and therefore cannot be used on GSM services such as T-Mobile and AT&T (Cingular).

T-Mobile does have a RAZR v3, but it is not a v3m. The v3m is similar to the v3s, which is also a CDMA phone, but adds a micro SD card to store music and photos on.

You need to send the sound that you recorded and saved in your phone to yourself in a PIX (picture) message. No Subjects, Text or Pictures are necessary to have in this message, as only the sound itself is required. Once the message arrives on your phone, choose "Options", then "Save As Ringtone". Once you have saved it in that manner, go to "Get PIX and FLIX", then "My Ringtones". It will be stored as a fully usable ringtone there.

That is a software issue. You need to either contact motorola or verizon regarding that issue. This is a known problem with their phone and they never fully resolved the first batch of the Razor freezing issue.

you should take the phone and have the flexcable replaced or try a keypad flex reflash

Go to ur message settings. All txts and go to Auto Erase. Make sure its on. Should work after that. Thats what they did to mine at Verizon.

what you can do is go to ringtone settings and assign a specific tone to it....and then test it

The Motorola V3m has a light sensor, which is visible just above the right soft key -- the key above the CLR button. This light sensor turns the backlight on when you press a key in the dark and disables the keypad backlight when you are in a well-lit area.

Your phone sounds like it's operating normally. I believe they disabled the option to activate or deactivate that feature.

I have seen this happen when the phone is almost full capacity on files. Try clearing up some files by either deleting them or backing them up to PC.

You may also need to hit it with some canned air and isopropyl alcohol to clean the keys up.

Sure just search for Ebay for razr keypad - they sell for about $5, and its very easy to open a RAzr and replace it!
