The camera's battery is charging while the light blinks. When the battery gets fully charged, the led will stay on, indicating that the battery is charged. The manual should explain this, in case you still have it. Good luck, and hope this helps.

Yes, I use Mod to iMovie Converter, it can import your video files to imovie hd, imovie 07, imovie 08, it's easy and safe.

Usually screen replacement is not economical to repair. The part is usually around 110-140 dollars. If you have older tapes this is the only way to play them back. You could go to jvc.com to have a flat rate repair calculated. Hope this helps.

I can't download video from videocam to pc.
You should be able to connect your camcorder to IEEE1394 socket on a computer, by means of a firewire cable, and capture the video with Windows Movie Maker or other software. Windows Movie Maker is part of WindowsXP and is already instaleed on PCs.
