Shortage problem I have a Philips HTS3544/37 its blowing my internal fuse on system I replace the fuse (6.3 250v) it already blew 4 fuses Philips told me it was a shortage problem to get it fix

you may have a short of some kind, when a fuse blows repeatedly it is no good just replacing, you are being told that something is wrong with the equipment.
You will almost certainly have to visit a technician for a diagnosis. It is unlikely to be something that an inexperienced end user can sort out I am afraid.

sounds as though a earth cable may have got mixed with a power cable , take back to who done the gearbox

This doesn't compute as there is no fuse external to the unit and it runs off a 12 volt wall wart supply. The supply is 500ma or more. Any INTERNAL fuse would probably be rated at that or slightly higher like 650 ma or even 3/4 amp. If the internal fuse blew it was for a reason... using wrong adapter probably would do it... Other than that take it to a competent repair shop as the fuse will probably blow instantly again. This appears to take 12 to 20 volt 500 ma minimum wall adapter with CENTER positive, unlike many devices. If you put wrong polarity adapter that would probably blow the fuse and MAYBE another component.

About the only thing left that hasn't been replaced is the fan control switch itself; it may have disintegrated internally. You didn't mention if the fan motor itself had been replaced but I assume it was not in the system when the fuse blew again.
Not on GM products, but I have replaced a power connector that had (because of lousy internal contact) melted and allowed a ground contact to come into contact with a 12 volt line.

Bad output IC or voltage rectifier are the most likely at fault.

4 amp slow blow -- any fuse with those characteristics will suffice.

i would try to unplug the clock and the radio change the fuse and see if the fuse blows.

there is a possibility that the current load is excessive nor there is a short circuit from elsewhere, do not try to install again a new fuse unless you are certain there is no shortages of any wire from inside the amp and throughout the system by physical inspection

also install the right value for your fuse meaning the right amp and voltage, high temp is an indicator of shortages and defective power transistor

Fuses are designed to be protection devices, that is, to destroy themselves in order to protect an electronic circuit. Now, when brand new replacement fuses blow, it could mean two things: 1.- The replacement fuses are below the specified rating (you can find the rating by reading around the end metal caps of the original fuse), or
2.- The internal circuitry of the unit is damaged and is causing the fuses to blow immediately.

There is not much you can do yourself, unless you are technically inclined and know how to test the unit for internal damage. If you are not technically inclined, your best bet is to have the unit inspected to asses the damages and the cost of repair if you elect to do so.

The main fuse should be a 4 amp fuse not a 1.25 amp.
