my niece entered the wrong security code for my nokia5610 and i thin it is hard locked..
is there any way i can unlock my phone...
im entering my security code and it wont accept it anymore...
Click here this is all the codes nokia have for their phones you might be able to use these to reset the phone, But remember if you reset the phone you will lose all the data like numbers, messages, ringtones so just be warned.
Is the phone asking for the security code when you switch it on if this is the case and you cant access your phone then dont try entering the code because if you enter it wrong more than 5 times then the phone becomes hard locked. So let me know if this is the case.
If the phone isnt locked and you just want to change the security code then let me know ok
Also is the phone brand new like you brought it from shop still in box etc, or is this a phone you have purchased of someone,

ok then if its new from shop and you have the manual it will tell you in their what the default code is its usually one of these but can vary depending on when it was made and what netwrok your on ok
it could be one of these

00000
If none of these dont work then take it back to shop as the phone hasnt bin reset when it was made and you will never know the code.
But remember only enter 1 code at a time then switch the phone off and back on before you try another because if you get it wrong to many times the phone can become hard locked and then you wont get it unlocked without flash lead and unlocking software.
But if the phones new then i would take it back and ask them why the code isnt what it should be

For wrong SECURITY CODE problem,(ie-wrong code keyin by friend) you just need to let the phone untouched for 15 minute, then off and on again(take out the battery and insert back) and try your security code again and only ONE TIME

JAF to the rescue! (JAF can read the code, but PKEY will cost you pretty penny).
You could try using Nemesis Service Suite to perform a master reset (the phone option will not work as you need to know the security code). Make sure you back up everything important.

hi,the code was typed too many times. take out battery for 30-40 minutes. and then try 12345. if no joy then reflash the phone (do a back up before reflashing as you'll loose all your data).
