I have a galaxy 4 when I try to send a long Text message it won't brake the message down into smaller messages it just keeps allowing me to text until I hit 160 characters and then it won't let me text...

It's a fixed standard that is currently defined as a way of sending messages up to 1120 bits in length. This means 160 7-bit characters or 140 8-bit characters or 70 16-bit characters, so you just download google messenger app of any other sms app from store n switch your sms app to that1.

When I click on my text inbox of my LG KP500 mobile phone restarts itself so I cant read my text messages. I can create message and view my outbox etc, just not my inbox and i can try so many sim card

I think there's a spam message from ur friends or service provider. Whenever a spam appears, the phone behaves the same way. So, better keep ur services messages blocked.
Clear ur phone memory so that all the messages get deleted.

The text on my inbox is super small as is the message text - I can hardly read it. It just started today. Please help

Hello. You might try pressing both the "ctrl" and "+" keys on your keyboard at the same time. This will make text on web pages appear larger and easier to read. You can also use ctrl and - to make it smaller.

On my samsung solstice, my font size suddenly got smaller and its super tiny so its hard to read how can i make it larger when i view a message

When viewing a text message, press the Up or Down volume keys to
increase or decrease the font size of the message text. Six different font sizes are available.

Well when you are sending a text message you cannot make them any bigger. However when you reciew them you can enlarge and make the text smaller. so when ever you veiw a text message just hit the up and down button (volume controlls) on the left side of the phone and you can see when you hit up the text gets bigger and when you hit down the text gets smaller.

When you rub your finger around the center/ok button, it causes the fonts to get bigger/smaller. The same happened to me and then I realized it was my finger causing the problem.

Send a text to the phone. Read it and see if it change the "2 new texts" message.

Cannot recieve text messages and read messages keeps deleting

i just went through this problem today... go to options and the scroll down to status.. if it says 0 bytes then you need to clear all old texts, after you do that make sure all programs are closed. You do this by holding down the ALT button and the return button.. make sure you close every last one of the programs.. take your battery out, then you should be go to go!

when you are going to create a message go to OPTIONS then TEXT STYLE change the TEXT SIZE into SMALL.. then press APPLY..

As dumb as it may sound, use the Volume +/- buttons on the left side of the phone to increase or decrease the text size while reading a text message.

If you have a rubber skin protector on the phone, they may cover the buttons completely so you either have to take it off or figure out where the buttons are. The skin my wife's phone has shows some raised volume control 'knobs', that are invisible to the naked eye without tilting it in the right lighting.

It is frustrating that Samsung doesn't mention this fact in the manual, and that there are no settings that can be accessed for it. I found my solution on fixya.com during a general cell phone search.
