Main Pressure Switch Test or Calibration Instructions?

My pump started making noise, then eventually I started getting the "Pump blocked?" message. I drained the water and thoroughly checked for blockages. Even went as far as removing the pump and all hoses from the drum to the drain pipe -- everything was clear. I decided that, due to the excessive noise, I would just go ahead and replace the pump, even though it was pumping out water just fine.

I just finished putting in the new pump. MUCH quieter! But I'm still getting the "Pump blocked?" message. After studying the machine, I'm convinced it's a problem with the main pressure switch (See part #32 on the parts diagram)

It's as if it's not closing the switch (or opening the switch, whichever it's supposed to do) when the water drains, which tells the logic board that the water is drained and it's time to move to the next cycle.

Does anyone have any testing and/or calibration instructions for the main pressure switch?

SOURCE: Drain pump runs constantly:Error code E02

Suggestions: First see that the exit hose behind your machine is inserted at a particular height, ie about 3 feet above ground level, then into the standpipe in your wall. If things dont work plug off the wall, open up behind, you will see a thin pipe coming down from the pressure switch to the drain area. Disconnect this pipe carefully from the top and blow into it, it should be free. If blocked clear, if broken or damaged change. Refit carefully.

SOURCE: message: drainage blocked

scgawlik,
Happy to assist you,

You said,
The pipe in the back is not clogged, it is wide open. When we removed the cover for the pump in the front and open the valve, the water obviously drains out. However, when you put it back together and try to run it, it will go through a cycle and when it gets near the end of the cycle that when the message appears drainage blocked and won't drain.

The electronic type washers , can be unplugged and after 5 minutes restarted and the system is then rebooted. This resets the system and clears the codes !

If the drain is not blocked then you have a faulty sensor or a bad pump

Disconnect the drain hoses and check for blockages. If no blockage "time" the drain interval. If it's more than 6 minutes it's the pump. Also make sure you're using the correct type of soap so the ball check valve on the bottom of the outer drum isn't getting fouled with excessive suds. Also disconnect the drain hose from your house plumbing and let it free flow on it's own. This will tell you if the blockage is in your plumbing and not in the machine.

Where is fuel pump relay switch located on a 94 gmc Sonoma. Cannot locate to test. Truck starts but as driving the is a click noise and shuts off. It restarts after a minute. Please help

Check in main fuse block with other relays. Should be labeled. Relay kicking out may be caused by overheating = bad fuel pump or dirty filter. Test fuel pressure too.

Make sure your Car is not on the defective switch list...If not it may be your fuel pump starting to fail..in most cases a bad pump the car should not start right away after shutting down but will start after setting for a short period..until eventually stops all together..you may want to have a pump pressure test done it will detirmne if proper pressure is getting to the injectors or carb...good luck..

The water is not draining? how do i fix it model # mdb7100awb serial# 27721893zq 5.5 amo heat 6.o amp

If there is a drain problem, the parts that must be checked are drain hose, pressure switch, drain pump assembly, timer control.

Check if the drain hose at the back is kinked or blocked.

Test the pressure switch, blow into the small hose, and use a multimeter to check if switch has continuity.

Remove access panel and get to the drain pump hose to check for a blockage. You will need to disconnect the hose and collect the water.

Keep a container ready to collect water when you undo pump hose.

If all the rest is OK, test and eventually replace timer board.

I have a 1993 Chevy Truck that every once in a while will get a knocking sound from the engine at normal operating temperature. During this time the oil pressure will drop and it feels like the engine is...

One of two things is happening, either the oil pump is starting to go or the lifters are sticking. A small shot of water while the engine is running into the carb will take care of it believe it or not. Use a spray bottle or just drip very small amounts. It's like steam cleaning your engine.

Water won't drain out of the washer

I would think that the drain line is clogged, or the pump is clogged or defective. Take a flashlight and look into the suction port on the pump. Check the impeller blades and make sure that none are missing or broken and that the impeller turns freely. If any blades are missing or broken or if the impeller won't turn freely, the pump is defective. Hopefully, it is just a clog in the drain line or pump. Hope this helped and best wishes.

My washer is not draining during the spin cycle

not draining your washer at all, pump may be bad or no power to pump, take the drain hose out of the "stand-pipe" where water enters the sewer drain, and lower to floor and see if water drains by gravity if only slowly your pump or hose may have a slug of crud in it blocking drainage to sewer pipe
