The unit does not "guess" streets. It suggests possibilites based on the location in its database. If it is pulling up incorrect information, the city may be wrong. Try re-entering the address without entering the city. Instead, press "Search All." Then enter the rest of the address. Sometimes the address will be listed as being in a different/nearby town due to the ZIP code. Let me know if this helps.

It guesses the street and wont let me put in the correct one

This will happen with any GPS device, if the street isn't in the unit's database. If, for example, "Alpine Street" was built after your unit came out, your unit might guess "Alamo Drive" after you enter "AL", and wouldn't let you type the "P" unless it knows of another street that starts with "ALP".

The signals sent by the GPS satellites enable the unit to determine your latitude/longitude location, but the maps and software to translate the location to a street address has to be programmed into the unit ahead of time.

There may be an update available for your GPS unit, but you would need to pay for it (and probably install it by connecting to a computer and using a CD/DVD). Depending on the price, it may be a better choice to buy a newer unit, which probably has more features, etc.

Street listings in most GPS units are pretty good, but some streets (e.g., short private roads) might not be in the database for your unit, no matter how new it is. Really cheap units typically won't have the best data- that's the main "cost" in the price, and the reason that updates often cost nearly as much as a new unit.

Forks rebuilt, oil leaks.

Just a thought.Aren't late model sportster forks,on the 1200"s,49mm?Check that manual to see if the procedure is the same.If not then guess which one is right.Don't know bout late models but the early mm lower sliders had a fiber washer that could get damaged if the last assembly bolt, allen head, wasn't put in just right.Good luck.

08 Street Glide install bub full exh with crossover, eliminate o2 sensors and install power commander and add o2 sensor electric caps,Check engine lite is on

Your check engine light is on because you are not providing the proper signal that used to come from the oxygen sensors. Install the sensors in your new exhaust (yes, drill it and put them back in), then connect the wiring correctly and it will work.

How do i down load new info-

I'm assuming you have the right map installed.Make sure you type in the right city (town/village). Make sure you are spelling the street name correctly.

If your street has been there for more than a year then it may be a map error. Try browsing the map in the area where you live to see if you you can find your street and see how it is spelt. It may be spelt incorrectly on the map. You can correct an incorrect spelling. See the manual for map corrections.

Newer streets may not be included on your current map. You may have to wait for an update or you can buy an update or you can use the map corrections to add your street. See the manual.

Speaking the names of major streets

It will only tell you the names of the streets if you use the COMPUTER voice. The other voices will not announce street names. So go to your voice selection and pick the computer voice...either male or female.

Problem locating correct street

Are you sure the unit is looking in the correct City? Sometimes the city will be listed according to the ZIP code. For instance, you may type in one city and it may be listed as a neighboring city due to postal regulations. If you cannot find the correct street in the city you posted, hit the Back key. When you get back to City, hit Search All Cities. Then try the address again. It may pull up the correct address, just with a different city listed.
