It will work with Kenwood similar models but not with other models as the codes are different with all makes and models.

Can i know what is the problem you are facing so that i can help you to solve it out..

make sure you have no bare or shorted speaker wires and check your speakers to make sure they are all good. if that all checks out, you probably have a bad output ic.

recently had same problem when i brought the radio to the shop i brought it to him with all the wires in the back trimed so no copper was showing when i got it back the right rear wires had been stripped along with power and ground now as far to what happens behind the sences i dont know but i would guess they merge thee two and power it on and wait because it took they 4 hours to do mine

you have to activ ate the aux port form the menu, on standby hold the menu button and then use the control knob on the right to change the aux to on1

You do need a remote to sort your problem out. If you dont have one, a Kenwood installer may be able to do this for free for you. Just go round the back and talk to one of the install techs. They are often happy to help out. I would have :)
