Hello, I have an ASKO Washer model W6461 and I notcied a puddle (1/2 cup) under the front right part of the machine after running it once. How do i get the service manual for this machine so i can determine what is causing the leak. I want to get to this area of the machine to see where the leak is coming from. Any ideas?

You may find the leak coming from the door seal or the soap drawer while it is filling,if you leen the machine back you will find two T20 screws under the front.you can get the book from asko.com.au

I have the same issue with water pooling at bottom right corner and I believe the problem is a plugged drain. If you remove the dispensor drawer there is a little trough that captures excess water and drains. My drain is plugged. What is the best way to clean it out? How do you take it apart to expose the channel? Anyone know?

With my Asko W6461, Right as the spin cycle starts, it sounds like something hard is banging against the drum (outside it) but inside the washer. Often, the spin cycle then does not complete. When I turn...

buy a new machine, the spider gear is broken and it's around 500 bucks for the part, you can buy a new washer for that, you used to much detergent,it eats at the metal on the spider gear and it falls apart,i've found parts of it inside the pump before.

Moldy smell from front-loader Asko washer.

Hi

First check to make sure that the machine is draining properly and that the pump filter is clear of any debris.

On a frontloader a common place for mold to build up is the rubber seal around the door. Clean this out as well as you can with ordinary kitchen cleaner then place a heaped cup of baking soda directly into the drum and run an empty hot/boil wash on a full cycle.

Baking soda has a cleaning and neutralising effect and will help remove any build up of mold or gunge within the machine. You may need to run two of these washes before you see a solid result.

Thereafter I recommend you run a monthly 'maintenance wash' with the baking soda to prevent the problem arising again.

Hope this helps. Thanks for using FixYa

Need new stabilizer clip/bolts for ASKO washer model W6461

Don't need those bolts except for shipping the washer. They were supposed to have been removed a long time ago.

It's probably the heater, or the thermostat. You must have a serviceman to fix that:)
