Sounds like a memory error. Either memory is bad or missing. Can be miss-aligned in the slot. Make sure the laptop is unplugged and battery is out of it. Open the memory cover and remove and then reinsert the stick. Button it back up and try it. If that doesn't work, you might try a new stick of ram.

My PC is making a beep sound and nothing is showing on the monitor. it is an hp tower desk top

Whenever you hear a system beep it means the system is hung due to a hardware error. How many beeps does it make? The number off beeps can help you dtermine what the issue may be. It could be a video card failure, cpu failure, ram failure, or even a power supply issue. The beeps aren't very specific but they can give you a starting point. Given that it is such a generic error code I would suggest taking the PC to a repair center. I wish I could be of more assistance. If you have any further questions please feel free to reply in this thread.

Quick question, did you upgrade any components prior to the error beeps?

PC will not start

This sounds like a memory error, can you define the beeps. There is a thing called a "beep code" on all motherboards, the website for the motherboard defines what the beeps mean. For example: one long beep followed by two short beeps of continous spaced beeps without a break. chris http://www.motherboardsrus.net

Code (Vclr) on screen and one beep then two beeps twice.

Your memory modules are faulty (or dirty). Try them one by one and clean the both the modules and slots with alcohol (or Contact Cleaner).

Pc has power but nothing shows on screen. motherboard doesnt beep once like it used to when turned on but green light is on indicating its ok.

dear,

Remove the ram and check, is the motherboard beeps or not..

it should beep as long beeps....and should continue beeping after serveral times until u switch off it...
then reconnect the ram after swiching off power...

remove the data cables of hdd and cd/dvd and then try to switch it on...
if it works fine then reconnect it properly...

Fault can be in Ram or data cables perhaps...

regards,

hope it will fix the issue so dont forget to rate it...

Kenmore front load washer 417-44082400

My kenmore front load did that just a few months after I bought it. Unfortunately it was the the electronic board {brains of cycles} that had to be replaced. Had to replace it 3 times!! Warranty did cover it. Look into your warranty--at that time the boards were $200-$250 each!!
