Do I have to have someone else put in the battery for me? Can I do it myself? How much do you think all of that would cost? The battery and having someone install it for me? Is it just not worth it? Should I just get a new ipod?
No. Take it into a store then, radioshack. the nerd herd are very skilled - they will charge you 15$ +/- to install with battery. Its not a big deal and can do it on the fly. Good luck, generic battery is fine and cheap, lasts close to the original at half the price.

I don't want to be rude in any way, but I think you can't do this yourself if you have to ask it here. On the other hand, if you are strong enough, have the right tools and you will take the right safety precautions it could go.

well the cadillac dealer is right when you pull the battery all codes are gone the best way to handle this is bring a battery down there put it and get your car out of there

First congratulations on buying a camaro. If you have the clutch replaced, cost is in the $500. range. Can you do it yourself depends on several factors. The transmission weighs around 75 pounds. Do yo have a hoist or going to do it on the ground? Are you mechanically inclined enogh to tackle the job? It is an easy straight forward job if you know what you are doing or can have someone help.

have you ever replaced such item on a car before sounds like you do not have the equipment!sometimes thinking to save is good but if you have never before undermining the repair could be costly! things to get bent and broke I have seen people attempted similar work and break a switch by pure mistake and cost them $400.00 for a tow in and diagnostic .part & labour! MY SOLUTION:invite someone a friend or neighbour who might have before good luck hope this helps merry christmas.
There are four screws, two at the front and two at the back under the step bar that rewinds the cord. It lifts off from the bottom. Be careful not to snap off the tabs.
