I have a tomtomxl340S and need the manual I started a download and got to page 18of44 and it stopped how do I find it to continue it is a gps

Sounds like you have a broken charger, USB port or logic board. Try a different charger, inspect the usb port if it is loose. If both is not the issue, it's your logic board. There is a third party tomtom Repair service that will replace the logic board and a tomtom repair guide if you want to replace it yourself, the screen is available on ebay.

A Garmin Nuvi 1300 that won't start, freezes on 'loading maps,' or is acting erratically is symptomatic of having corrupt firmware.

To correct this, I recommend backing up your favorites, clearing all user data, and if it still is stuck, then updating your Nuvi firmware.

Follow these three steps to take to get your Garmin Nuvi 1300 running like new:

1. Back up your Favorites.
2. Perform a Hard Reset.
3. Download and then run Garmin WebUpdater to replace its firmware / system software.

Most GPS devices (All Garmins) have a "cancel routing" or "Stop Current Route" button on the menu. I have a menu page that offers - recalculation, cancel or Add a route. You should too!

The TOM TOM One manual says
