I think you'll have to hard reset your device, in order to get passed the password request procedure. You, most probably, know that a hard reset will return your device to its factory defaults, thus deleting all the applications you have installed, as well as all your personal data and settings. Anyway, to hard reset your device, press and hold both the SEND and END buttons, and, whilst keeping them pressed, press the reset pin with the stylus pen. Release the keys when a confirmation request screen comes up. Follow the on-screen instructions (if I'm not mistaken, confirm the hard reset procedure by pressing the SEND button).

I forgot my screen password for my Samsung GT-S5310 and I cant have access to it so I need an help to have a new password for my phone to have access to my data. How can I change it because my screen is locked and I cant go through?

Please try the following steps:
  1. Enter test mode * # 0228 #. Press two times back then 6 and 1. Then reboot. Your settings will be reset to factory state, and user code will be 00000000 (Eight zeroes)
    • Or try a hard reset which you should use only as a last resort (Remember to backup all data!)
    • Press reset pin button ONCE (do not hold)
    • Once you see the "Samsung Omnia" appear on the screen, immediately press the SEND and END keys simultaneously
    • Then the screen appears asking you whether you are sure to format
    • Press SEND to format or END to cancel

When Omnia powered off,hold onto the Call and Cancel buttons, press and hold the power button for a approximately 5 seconds until the reset screen shows up. If you do it wrongly, you will hear the samsung jingle and the startup animation.When it is on,hold onto the Call and Cancel buttons,poke the soft reset hole and the reset screen shall show up.Screenshot.By the way, this hard reset does not erase the 16GB memory.To reset everything, you could use the software hard reset by going to Settings > Hard Reset. There is also option to format the storage card.One point to note though

This can happen with phones sometimes after prolonged use. Connect the phone to your computer using USB cable.Back up your files such as pictures music etc., that are on the memory card. Format the memory card. Hopefully this will resolve the issue.
