Always unplug the TV before you start....:)
On the Sanyo DP19648 has sound and NO picture.Take the TV apart locate the power supply board on left.Remove the plugs for the lights etc.take out the screws carefully unclip the power supply.Turn it over find the F1 tiny chip fuse locaed off center to the left with metal sheild away from you.I used a 2 amp (bc fuse unknown)I broke an agc style standard fuse and used the wire that was inside the fuse and also replaced the slightly bulged 220uf at 25volt cap which is located top side not far from burnt fuse.I suspect the fuse blew bc of the small orange bulged cap.
From Ed the tech....good luck

Yes, check the power supply if it has 12vdc, if it does, then check the inverter circuits for blown fuse, bad solder joints, etc..
Also look to see if there are any bad caps with leaking/bulging tops.

Qn82q70rafxza no picture after power surge?

Try a power board, in most cases that's the only board that gets damaged on power surges, this doesn't sound like a tcon issue

Se47fy19. Has sound, but why no picture?

as there are 2 completely different circuits for sound and picture in a tv set it is possible that the picture board has been damaged by the power surge . it could be as simple as a blown fuse for that board or you may have to take it to a repair shop for a proper diagnosis and a quote

Power surge to Ns 24E200NA14 Insignia tv. Has power, backlight, sound but no picture

Yes it received a massive surge from the transfer. You would need to replace your Insignia or try taking it to a Bestbuy which is a Bestbuy brand to have them fix the unit. Also try putting it on a really good surge protector as well.

Mitsubishi CS-31303 will not power on.

I have Mitsubishi TV CS-31303. It has transient issues. At turn on, it shows horizontal fringes for some time along with picture, then single horizontal line only and then after some time finges at the 1/3rd bottom and then clear full picture. After some more time the clear picture turns into horizontal fringes at the bottom 3rd of the picture and picture rolls and then again the picture is very clear. Some one said that there is an issue in the signal PCB. Where is it and what componets are at fault. I do have service manual which shows circuit diagrams.

No sound, black & white picture

Invest in a good surge protecting power bar for your electronics such as TVs and Computers. This can save your devices from all kinds of surges and overloads.

Hitachi 46ex3bc

I have the same problem with mine. i,m pretty sure that it is the built in surge protector is bad. Try unplugging the tv for 30 seconds then plug it back in and turn it on. If your surge protector has not completely gone bad this might work a few times. mine won't turn on at all anymore.
