here are various problems the lg ks660 touch screen could encounter. LCD is inside the front glass that has logo of htc

the upper glass is called touch panel or digitizer it is working as u say but lcd is broken u can see visible cracks on it and it may partially display or not at all then ur lcd is broken by pressure or impact u need to get it replaced around like 100-150 dollars depends on the model and size of the lcd screen

I had the same problem so i went searched to see if i could find a new touch screen which they call a digitizer. Every where i looked they costed about 110 bucks! good thing i did some digging there is this site call fonlogix.com......they have phone parts and the digitizer cost 20 buck plus about 10 buck freight through usps. i also recommend getting a screen protector. it works great now!
